Co-Hosts

Meagan Jackson, LPC-S, RPT-S

Meagan Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor who has spent years walking alongside families through the messy, beautiful, and challenging parts of life. Her work focuses on helping children feel understood, supporting parents through the ups and downs of raising them, and building stronger family connections through compassion and practical tools.

But Meagan doesn’t just talk about parenting—she lives it. She and her husband are raising three kids between the ages of 10 and 14 in the middle of Texas chaos, complete with school drop-offs, sibling drama, soccer games, and snack negotiations. She’s energetic, vibrant, and funny, and she brings that same realness and warmth into every episode of the podcast.

Whether she’s in the therapy office or chasing her kids through the backyard, Meagan shows up with humor, heart, and a deep belief that while the days are long… the years really are short.

Katie Zuverink, LPC-S

Katie Zuverink is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor based in Frisco, Texas, with a heart for helping families navigate tough transitions. She specializes in working with parents and families through difficult transitions. She’s also a passionate educator, regularly training and mentoring up-and-coming professionals in the field.

At home, Katie is a single mama raising two spirited daughters—ages 11 and 13—who are science-loving, kickboxing, plant-growing forces of nature. When she's not managing carpools or cheering from the sidelines, Katie finds peace in watercolor painting and nurturing her own ever-growing collection of houseplants and backyard vegetables.

She brings humor, insight, and lived experience to every podcast conversation—because she knows firsthand that parenting isn’t easy, but it’s never boring.
